I was inspired to do this project after a class about pattern making. I followed this class because I wanted to combine my passion for illustrating with my passion for fabrics. I learned various techniques to print a pattern on fabric. I wanted to combine everything i had learned into a design of my own.
I bought two big pieces of fabric at the market and started making these bags and pencil cases. I measured how I could cut as many bags and pencil cases out of the fabric and then cut everything. After cutting I screen printed on the fabric with puff paint that puffs up when you heat it with a heat gun. I wanted a label on it so I used the laser cutter to engrave my logo and name into some leftover fabric and then I sowed everything together.
